Tigran Martirosyan was born in Yerevan , Armenia in 1983. Grew up in Armenia until teenage years. Moved to the United States when he was 18 and attended Loyola Marymount University . Had the most singles wins in the history of LMU tennis. In 2003, transferred to University of Kentucky in search of a more competitive tennis program. All-American at UK , Tigran finished ranked # 3 in the nation in doubles. While studying at UK , won many collegiate individual tournaments as well. Was appointed a captain of the tennis team in his senior year. In fall of 2007, enrolled at Eastern Kentucky University for an MBA degree. While studying at EKU, Tigran assumed the assistant coach position of men’s and women’s tennis teams. Has been playing tennis professionally since graduating and has reached career high ranking of 360. Has had numerous wins over players ranked in the top 200 (Jan Hernych, Donald Young, Ryan Sweeting, Michael Yani etc.) Interests are swimming, listening to music watching movies. Has one older brother and currently lives in Lynn , MA
